European Food and Wine

Fine wine and excellent dining are essential while in Europe. European food and wine are a long-standing hobby of royalty and nobility throughout history. You will see their influence when you visit Europe. Where should you go to enjoy your European dining and wining adventures? Which regions are the best?

Italy, Germany and France are the most popular wine-producing countries. France is the most well-known, but there are many other areas that should not be overlooked. France will be the first place I discuss. The Loire River Valley is one of my favourite places in the world, and it should not surprise me as a wine enthusiast. The Loire Valley is home to Muscadet and Sancerre as well as Vouvray, which are all made in the purest and most delicious form. Burgundy is easily trumped, however, by the Loire Valley, which boasts Beajolai and Chablis as well as Cote d’Or and Macon wines. Bordeaux is also a must-try if you are in France. France is home to some of the best cuisines in the world, including delicious cheeses and high-quality chocolate.

There are many wine regions in Italy, but the most famous are Tuscany and Venice. The wines from this region range from Chianti to Amarone and Valpolicella. They are all world-class in quality.

Spain might not be as diverse as France or Italy but it does have quality. The best European food and wine are also available in Germany, Hungary, Portugal, and Portugal. All of these regions should not be overlooked and are well worth a visit!
